Seeing Properly (2 Corinthians 10:7-11)

God has made us MORE than conquerors and that Christ is not powerless. He is not restrained, even by our faithlessness. As the rain and the snow accomplish their purpose, so too God’s Word. It will not return to Him void, but it does tear down strongholds and takes thoughts captive to Christ. And in this gospel warfare, the same gospel that tears down sin and its structures also builds UP! But you have to look closely, with faith, to see what God is doing! Otherwise, we’ll miss it and lament, and worse we’ll be susceptible to false teachers who major in the superficial and immediate. Paul is encouraging the Corinthians to see better, and we can say that Christ alone is our Spiritual corrective lens!
