Free Grace (1 Corinthians 9:1-18)

Paul hasn’t gone off topic, nor has he veered away from his tremendous opening emphasis on Love. No, Paul is showing that the power of love to give up the greatest right vindicates both the right and the superior love that gives it up. In order for this to really be LOVE like Christ’s love – for us to understand GRACE – there must be a voluntary nature to it and it must be sacrificial. Have you been a Christian long enough to learn that Grace is great because it is freely given not owed!
