Deciding on Deacons (Acts 6:1-7)

There is an attack of Satan which works more subtlety than the rest of his designs because it takes a good and distracts the church of God from the what is best. In out passage Satan attempts to distract the Apostles from preaching and prayer – but Jesus triumphs over Satan’s distractions when the Spirit moves the Apostles to delegate and appoint deacons so that the Word of God can reign supreme in the Spirit-filled church.
