Citizenship and Suffering (Acts 22:22-29)

Christ as King shares all His benefits with His kingdom! that is what makes Acts optimistic in the best sense of the word. And yet, Paul is in nothing but trouble for the last few chapters and will continue to be to the end of the this glorious book of Luke’s. Yet, it is here that the unhindered Word is pushing its way to the ends of the earth – and it is here Paul demonstrates other-worldly composure. Like Stephen in the midst of the blows of so many stones the King in his sight, clearer than ever, there with him. What is going on?
