In two Temple episodes after the birth of Jesus – we see a blueprint for obedience. Jesus fulfills all the law for us, perfectly obeying the Father, so that we are free to obey as well. In Christmas we assume that Christ belongs to us as a present. After Christmas we see that we belong to Him!
