Severe Grace (Acts 5:1-11)

The history of Ananias and Sapphira teach us that the Spirit that came upon the early church was a Holy Spirit, but also to demonstrate that Christ’s continuing work in the church included destroying the works of the Devil. For us that means that grace works in our lives in both judgment and mercy, in stopping sinful action in its tracks and in healing restoration. Both judgment and mercy are the work of grace in the Spirit-filled church!
