Christmas from the Prophets (Zephaniah 3:14-20)

There is a parallelism setup in the close of Zephaniah’s book that covers his whole prophecy… he is saying “We sing because he first sang over us!” It is Zephaniah’s answer to the Complacent people of God. Do you think that God does not really care? Have you felt like the Disciples on the BOAT with Jesus in the storm… crying out to Him “Do you even care that we are perishing?” – well, if you are tempted to complacency Zephaniah has a Christmas message for you! God Himself will turn all your shame into praise because you are His jubilant delight!
